The Conveyor Hotspot Detection System object detection system cleverly uses thermal imaging cameras to detect a fire hazard early when transporting self-igniting materials. The system continuously and fully automatically measures the temperature of the conveyed goods and sends a signal to the higher-level system if the limit values are exceeded, for example to stop the conveyor belt.
