The RF Identification System track-and-trace system reliably identifies the RFID transponders on objects in a material flow. The system detects RFID transponders individually or in groups. The integrated speed and direction detection ensures a clear assignment of the RFID transponders to objects. This allows a high throughput even with small object gaps. The software of the system filters out other RFID transponders in the immediate vicinity. Thanks to its modular design, the system can be adapted for a variety of applications and combined with other identification and reading technologies. This enables further information such as object weight or size to be determined in addition to the code reading results and written to the associated RFID transponders – even in fast processes.
