SICK Integration products CDE100

The CDE100 can be used to convert data from any Ethernet-based product to CAN bus and vice versa while being protocol agnostic on the CAN bus side. By converting sensor data from CAN bus to Ethernet format it is possible to expand the range of sensors and hardware interfaces in the system.

At the same time, it significantly reduces the wiring between additional processing units like IPCs, gateways, LiDAR sensors, encoders, and inclination and magnetic proximity sensors. Therefore, the CDE100 is often used for operator assist systems, windrow guidance, and machine process applications in heavy machinery, forklifts, and AGVs.
